Capricorn New Moon

As we approach the end of 2024, we are also closing a moon cycle.   We are being given an opportunity to reflect on the year we are leaving behind.  

With a new moon occurring at 22.26 (UK time) on Monday 30 December, the energy in the hours and days after the new moon is very powerful and  poignant as it coincides with the start of the New Year.  As we enter into 2025 it is a time when many of us will be setting new intentions.

With the sun and moon in conjunction in the astrological sign of Capricorn,  we may want to reflect on what has driven us to get to the point we are at now.  If we have been persistent and determined in an endeavour then our perseverance will start to pay off.  

Themes occurring at this time are around truth, fairness, trust and fear.  If we have been living from our unconscious fears, we may gain an awareness of how this has been driving us, enabling us to overcome obstacles.  Setting intentions to leave behind old thought patterns and behaviours will enable us to establish our independence, take control and start afresh. 

From an astrological perspective, we are starting 2025 with very different energetic themes to the past few years. The collective mood is more optimistic and our perspectives are shifting. We are ready for the new beginning that we have been preparing forover the last few years.
