New Moon, Partial Solar Eclipse in Aries
Astrologically we are standing at a transformational threshold. The Cosmic energies have aligned to support us in manifesting a reality that aligns with our soul purpose. The new moon occurring on. Saturday 30th March at 10.57am (GMT, UK) is also a partial solar eclipse in the astrological sign of Aries. We associate Aries with a dynamic, vibrant and initiatory energy. We are at the start of the zodiacal new year and also the beginning of an era defining shift as Neptune (associated with the unseen realms, the spiritual and the subconscious) also moves into the astrological sign of Aries.
The focus is on us, as individuals, and how we define ourselves, free from outdated dogmas, old thought patterns and inherited behaviour. The cosmic forces are aligned for us to heal old wounds and redefine our boundaries.
With both Mercury and Venus retrograde at the time of this eclipse, we need to be clear in our thinking and to be in alignment with our innermost values. Neptune, Mercury and Venus are all at the critical last few minutes of the Zodiac, signalling the end of old thinking, beliefs and values. It’s time to create a new vision, as whatever we focus on now will begin to take form in our new realties over the coming months. As we move through the second half of April and into May our new realities will begin to have structure.
We can expect some profound shifts, and the collective confusion, disillusion and uncertainty about the future may start to somewhat dissipate; as Neptune temporarily leaves Pisces for the next few months, we will get an insight as to what lies ahead.
The image herre is a painting from the early 20th Century, perhaps not intended as a depiction of a solar eclipse, appears to show the spatial relationship between the Sun, Moon, Earth and retrograde Venus and Mercury. The outer blue ring, unintentionally symbolises the nebulous energy of Neptune.
